Day 7

Phase 1 Checkpoint

You made it through Week 1! Time to celebrate and reflect.

Today's Lesson

Checkpoint days are for reflection and consolidation. You've learned a lot this week: terminal navigation, file creation, CLAUDE.md, editing, and organization. Let's capture what you've learned.

Today's Tasks

  1. 1Ask Claude Code to create a "Week 1 Summary" document
  2. 2Include: commands learned, concepts understood, files created
  3. 3Add a "cheat sheet" section with the commands you want to remember
  4. 4Share your summary on social media

Prompt to Use

Create a Week 1 Summary document for my 100 Days of Claude Code journey. Include:
- Commands I've learned (cd, ls, pwd, etc.)
- Concepts I now understand
- Files I've created this week
- A cheat sheet section with commands I want to remember
Make it something I'd be proud to share.

Expected Outcome

A summary document capturing Week 1 learnings.

Pro Tip

Teaching others (even by sharing) reinforces your own learning. Post that summary!

Coming Tomorrow

We start Phase 2 - Git and version control!

P.S. Reflection questions: What felt easier than expected? What's still confusing? What are you excited to learn next week?
